Nomination for the Supplier Contribution Award

Junker-Filter was nominated for the Supplier Contribution Award!

On November 13, 2018, Knorr-Bremse presented its Supplier Contribution Award to its best supplier companies for outstanding innovations and development achievements in terms of sustainability. Junker-Filter made it onto the shortlist: from around 100 suggestions and 80 suppliers, Junker-Filter was nominated as one of 14 companies for the award.

With our improvement suggestion GRENNOVATION UPGRADE, we were able to optimize the design of the existing products so that both a saving in the CO2 footprint and a reduction in costs are achieved. In addition, we guarantee 100% traceability through barcode technologies and the implementation of RFID chips, and we achieve greater transparency in our processes through the ongoing digitalization of our production.

Our GRENNOVATION UPGRADE enables a saving of 12 t of CO2 – that corresponds to a car trip of 85,000 km or twice around the world!
