1st prize – Environmental Technology Award
Junker-Filter impressed the jury with the innovative ZERO ® design for filter tubes and bags. With the submission of the ZERO ® design we won the 1st place in the category “Emission Reduction, Treatment and Separation” at the 2015 Environmental Technology Award.
Energy Masters Award
In the category “Use of renewable energies”, Junker-Filter wins with the project “Self-sufficiency from fossil fuels oil, gas, coal; Contribution to CO2 reduction and climate change”.
Junker-Filter received a “silver award” through the evaluation by EcoVadis. EcoVadis carries out the most trustworthy sustainability ratings for companies worldwide. With an excellent result, Junker-Filter is one of the 30% of the top performers rated by EcoVadis.
ClustAir is an cluster of highly innovative, mainly small and medium-sized companies in the field of exhaust air purification “made in Baden-Württemberg” – and Junker-Filter is also a member of this cluster. These companies offer technological air pollution control concepts for downstream cleaning processes along the value chain: from textile medium up to entire system including the highest quality measurement technology.

The DITF are the largest textile research center in Europe and partner of Junker-Filter in the field of filter media. In 2020, we developed certified CPA protective masks to help contain the corona crisis. The CPA model CV19 has been tested and approved according to the test principle for Corona SARS-Cov-2 pandemic respirators.

Heilbronn University HHN is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg. The focus is in the fields of technology, economics and information technology. The activities of the HHN, in particular the research activities, are based on trusting relationships with regional actors from business and society. Junker-Filter has been a long-term partner and develops new products and innovations in the field of filtration together with HHN.
Since it was founded in 2003, the Rhein-Neckar Environmental Competence Center has developed into the largest non-profit network for environmental and climate protection for companies, service providers and consultants in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. UKOM is led by people from business, administration and politics and, thanks to excellent networking, is advantageously positioned to develop practical solutions for companies for environmentally relevant mega-trends.
Junker-Filter is not only a member of UKOM, but is also represented on the board by Mr. Jürgen Junker (1st chairman).
The Institute of Technology in Karlsruhe is one of the largest scientific institutions in Europe. In addition to excellent teaching and cutting-edge research, innovation is one of the central tasks. The KIT has excellent research infrastructures which Junker-Filter can use regularly thanks to the long-term partnership. The German Federal Environmental Foundation is one of the largest foundations in Europe. It promotes projects for environmental protection. Thanks to DBU support, Junker-Filter has already implemented innovative environmental protection projects and developed marketable products.
